Most leadership challenges sit in the connections between leaders, teams and organisations.

The perspective I bring
Over the years, I’ve worked with leaders through growth, organisational change, leadership transitions and periods of increasing complexity.
Working across different industries, organisations and leadership contexts has reinforced that perspective.
Although I’ve worked across many sectors, I find myself returning to the same kinds of leadership moments: organisations that have reached a new level of complexity, leaders stepping into broader enterprise roles, and leadership teams adapting to what the organisation now needs from them.
While every organisation is different, many of the underlying leadership challenges are remarkably similar.
Recognising those patterns often brings fresh insight, practical challenge and a perspective that may be harder to find from within a single industry or organisation.
Two decades in business and senior leadershop roles
My story
Before becoming an executive coach and adviser, I spent more than two decades in business and senior leadership roles.
That experience taught me how organisations actually work.
The realities of growth. The pressures of leadership. The complexity of balancing people, performance and organisational priorities.
Today, whether I am working with an individual leader or a leadership team, I bring a perspective that is both practical and systemic.
Sometimes that involves challenge. Sometimes advice drawn from experience.
Often it means helping people see patterns, connections and possibilities that are difficult to spot from inside the situation itself.

What keeps me interested
I’m fascinated by what happens as organisations grow and leadership becomes more complex.
The decisions become less clear-cut. The relationships become more important. The consequences of leadership become more far-reaching.
At that point, success depends less on individual effort and more on the quality of leadership across the organisation.
That is the work I am most interested in: helping leaders, teams and organisations work together more effectively to create sustained performance over time.
